Solution-dyed acrylic
Solution-dyed acrylic is a woven fabric that was introduced for awnings in the early sixties. Acrylic fiber is a generic name for mixtures of at least 85 percent of acrylonitrile. The additional 15 percent consists of assorted additives, such as chemicals that furnish UV resistance. A delicate yet vibrant fabric, acrylic extends the aesthetics of cotton but is repellent to UV light, mildew and water. The loose weave makes it extremely breathable, and so hot air and moisture won't be trapped.

Vinyl-coated polyester
Principally employed for illuminated awnings, its semi transparency depends upon its coloring. Vinyl-coated polyester is resistive to UV light, mildew and water; it cleans easily and is flameproof.

Vinyl-laminated polyester
These standard fabrics include opaque and semitransparent fabrics which are translucent depending upon their color. Vinyl-laminated polyesters are repellent to UV light, mildew and water and are in reality suggested for use in regions of sustained high humidity. They're easy to clean and flameproof.

Acrylic-coated polyester
Coated with acrylic instead of vinyl, this fabric is semitransparent dependent on its color and is resistant to UV light, mildew and water. The weight is 9.5 to 12.5 ounces per sq yd.

Vinyl-Coated Polyester Cotton
These are traditional awning fabrics. Because of their cotton base, these opaque fabrics are not suggested for use in areas of constant high humidity, although they're moderately resistant to UV light, mildew and water.

Illuminated awnings afford you security 24 hours a day. Your shop front is illuminated at night, assisting your customers to find their way and discouraging thieves after you close. Lighting highlights an awning at night and neon can provide extra effects. We likewise furnish channel letters or other illuminated signs to advertise your business.
